Aquamarine was first reported in 1747 and is a variety of Beryl, which has either a prismatic, vertically striated structure—sometimes terminated—and can range from very pale blue to green.
Aquamarine’s energy aligns with the tranquility of the sea, and its name in Latin means “water of the sea.” It has a gentle and compassionate energy, encourages emotional healing, and works with the Throat chakra to open up communication and self-expression. It provides the wearer with increased empathy, emotional and intellectual stability, and tolerance.
