Afghanite, first reported in 1968, is a feldspathoid stone that ranges from blue to colorless. It was discovered in the Lapis Lazuli mine in Badakhshan province, Afghanistan, and is associated with Lazurite, Sodalite, and Lapis Lazuli.
Afghanite vibrates at a very high frequency and its energies interact strongly with the Third Eye chakra, bringing clarity and activation. Many specimens also include Quartz, which enhances the properties of Afghanite in conjunction.
